Symantec to split into two publicly traded companies

Symantec will this year launch two separate organisations each focusing on what they do best. Symantec/Norton products will be security focused and Veritas as an information management company. Revenue for Symantec in 2015 is estimated to be about US$4.2 billion and Veritas about $2.5 billion.
